We are a private engineering, financial and investment consulting firm based in Phoenix. Established in 1998, we hit the ground running with our direct approach to growing success through others. We facilitate large scale solutions, private funding in acquisitions, franchises and start-ups. Gene Irwin
Founder and Principal
Gene once dreamed of running his own manufacturing business to make widgets. All of the examples and business models he had reviewed up to that point used "widgets" as the primary focus as to what comes out of the plant.
While he didn't know what a widget was, he felt that if he saw one, he would recognize what it was and what it did. Instead of manufacturing widgets, he's become one of the best consultants in the country to manufacture success in others!
Gene oversees the creative direction at Global Funding & Acquisitions as well as business development of the direct programs affecting literally hundreds of clients. His background includes a BS in Chemical Engineering, MS in Mechanical Engineering (p), MS in Engineering Management (p), graduate work in Nuclear Engineering, Certified Fissionable Materials Handler, Certified Financial Analyst, Certified Venture Capitalist, Certified Cash Flow Specialist and Fair Market Value Analyst. He has personally reviewed over 3,000 small businesses through the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) process.
He has completed and/or sold over $250,000,000 in contracts and agreements in his career, and helped several companies in an IPO (Initial Public Offering) setting, mostly in High Technology sectors.
He is an author of several business books about Mergers, Acquisitions and small business development, and an avid Hang Glider Pilot who flies nationally. He owns a Private Investment / Venture Capital firm still operating nationwide in the Phoenix area since 1998.

Gene's approach to helping your business may be a little unusual. OK, a lot unusual. Because we do not have a "One Size Fits All" approach, we hire and/or Joint Venture with many different exectutives from around the country, who, like Gene, have become very successful at helping businesses grow. This type of approach provides our clients with two major benefits: (1) Exacting soultions and executive experience dealing with specifically what the client needs, and (2) in most cases having resources which provide more than one point of view to a client's challenges and goals.
What the "Project Management Team" picture should elicit for the client is that a focused and dedicated group of executives are looking at several options for specific solutions to each client's needs, regardless of their location or challenges.
Therefore, all additional executives will be added or called upon as needed, whether your major challenge is Business Acquisitions, Business Finance, Franchise Development, Franchise Purchase, Start-Up Inventory, Start-Up Funding, Product Enhancment Funding, Start-Up Management, personnel management or a myriad of things common to all businesses. We are very good at what we do, but we are also very selective of the types of people and projects we want to help succeed.
